Abstract Quality桹riented Education is one of the subjects of wide concern nowadays. With the further development of the education and teaching reforms in primary and secondary schools in China, people are more and more aware of the improvement of the quality of Mathematics, which is one part of the Quality桹riented Education. And lc晅s of beneficial research has been done. The following paper is based on the relevant study in the world, with a combination of the teaching practice and investigation results. It focuses mainly on the discussion on the meaning of the Quality桹riented Education of mathematics: the condition and influence factors of the Quality桹riented Education in Chinese secondary schools, and the concept of Mathematics Quality development. To develop the Quality桹riented Education in secondary schools, it?s important to set up a Mathematics Teaching Model and analyze the influence factors such as teachers in direct Mathematics activities; students? non梚ntelligence factors?the goal, concept, systen and content of teaching; education evaluation and the environment throughout the whole classroom teaching. To improve the Quality桹riented Education realis~.ically, the writer says., we should beg:in with the changing of concept, then make clear of the teaching objective. Most importantly, a complete evaluation system should be set up, we should also improve the quality and efficiency of the teachers; play the principal part of the students fully; arouse their consciousness of participation; instruct their learning method; set up an excellent teaching environment; better the classroom system; tap the potentialities of the classroom teaching and make sure of the carrying out of the Quality桹riented Education in secondary schools.
