Over nearly a decade of teaching, I myself have got a superficial knowledge and understanding of the theory and operations of the quality education. Thus I have written this article for the sake of your discussion and idea exchange, which aims to point out explicitly to the educationists at all levels, particularly the mathematic teachers the following points: What are the requirements of the quality education for high school math teachers? What role ought a math teacher to play under the quality education? And in which respects should a math teacher improve himself so as to adapt himself to the developments of the quality education? To clarify the above-mentioned questions, I tend to base my elaboration on my personal understanding as well as numerous reference consultations and collections. By implementing concretely the theory of the quality education on high school math teachers, I mean to give them some definite hints and suggestions as follows: to promote the successful carrying-out of the quality-oriented education in mathematics, a math teacher must adapt to its requirements?? to develop and improve himself; to renovate his notions and keep constant study ; to develop a relatively high spirit of career dedication and reinforce cultivation of talents in education and 2 scientific research ; and still , by using modern educational techniques , to open up vigorously new areas of mathematical education By means of the statements in this article, the great majority of the math teachers can identify more clearly the role they are playing in the operations of the quality education; make clear which directions they should turn 梬hat and how they should do ?
