Teaching Chemistry And Environmental Education In Middle School

Along with mankind coming into being and civilization developing, mankind and environment have been interacted closely. Since 20th century the continuing improving of scientific technology have took a great deal resources and fortune to mankind accompanied with serious damage to the balance of nature and a lot of environmental problem. Now people pay more attention to environment which is concerned to survival of human being . Environmental protection and the way of durable development have been the main targets of all countries . Therefore , more environmental education is necessary for increasing people抯 environmental consciousness and better understanding environment and environmental problem so that the acts of human being could be harmonious to environment. Chemistry , the center of science ,played an very important role in the progress of mankind evolvement .Mankind fully utilized chemistry and created countless new products. Chemistry was used in all fields of the living of mankind and production and national economies. Most of environmental pollution were related to chemical, but at the meanwhile more 90% methods of preventing environmental pollution used principles and technology of chemistry .Students nowadays will be the work force of society and the master of environment in future . Therefore it is necessary to enhance up-to-date environmental education in teaching chemistry in middle school. Part one and part two tells us the history of environmental education and seven principles in teaching chemistry in middle school and some ways of teaching chemistry with environmental education . From part three to part six mainly discusses how to teach chemistry in middle school with environmental education and penetrate the goal and request and content into the progress of teaching chemistry at the same time combined with local environmental condition and new achievement of environmental science .
