On Sex Education For Middle School Students

Sex education for middle school students in our country is part of the quality education. It plays a very important part in improving the students' moral self-cultivation, enriching their knowledge as well as good development in both body and mind. It is a new subject in elementary education and an important part of the construction of our socialist spirit civilization.It is important to implement sex education. As it is known, a lot of decadent things like sexual products and ideas rush into our society accompanying with the reform since our opening policy was carried out. As some of our young people cannot hold themselves facing these things and have caused a great many problems related to sex. Secondly, it is a worldwide tendency that the young generation has their puberty earlier than their parents, which means their social mature is relatively delayed. Sex education can help to promote the construction of our socialist spirit civilization as well as to help the adolescents to develop healthily both in body and mind and benefit them all life long. Therefore, we gave our opinion about sex education for middle school students based on others' achievements and the needs of the adolescents and the society.In the first part, we introduce the meanings of sex and sex education. Then we discussed about the relationship among the three aspects of sex. Next, we gave our understanding about the ?sex education for our middle school students.In the second part, we introduced briefly the development of sex education for adolescents in some countries as well as in China,In the literature review, we mainly introduce the achievements in the study of sex education in China in four aspects: the age, the content, the objectives and the way to carry out sex education.In the last part, we set up our new frame of sex education for middle school students based on all the achievements and experiences both at home and abroad, putting forward our new idea about the learning objectives, contents, the persons to implement sex education and the ways.
