So it's very essential to study net teaching modes based on LAN.Based on the disquisition and analysis of network teaching actuality inside and outside countries nowadays, this paper discusses models of physics teaching based on campus LAN, by adopting educational studying methods such as interviewing, investigating, literature-analyzing. This paper introduces briefly the now net teaching's characteristics and existent, potential advantage compared to tradition teaching and multimedia teaching, teaching mode types, applying patterns, main function form, technology and method. And, linked with curricular specialty of college physics and characteristics of learner and direction of modem teaching theories, this paper bring forward two net teaching modes: self-studyand tutor mode, discovering-discussing mode, which adapt to the campus LAN. This paper expounds the tentative plan about theory bases, designing principia, operating program, realizing terms and implementing technology of these two modes. And this paper carries out the discovering-discussing mode on teaching of optical interference.
