DIMA is a special character shown in the development of senior secondary school students. It's a frequently used term in the study field of elementary education. Because of it, there exists certain differences in the teaching between the period of senior secondary school and any other time before it. And all the teaching programs must follow the basic principle of respecting and encouraging IDMA. However, successful IDMA training calls for the play of IDMA itself. IDMA affects the state of Subject. The state of Subject affects the excution of IDMA converself. This is not only the premise and basis of teaching, but also the ultimate objective of teaching. The saying, "The aim of teaching is for independent study by students", may best illustrate the objective of senior secondary school teaching. On account of the present universal ambignous understanding about IDMA and initiativity, this treatise focuses on the experimental research on the definition and characteristics of IDMA. Further more, I have given some brief analysis on the present problems concerning IDMA in senior secondary school teaching and proposed my modest suggestrons for the solution.
