A Study On The Problems And Understandings Existing In The Online Education In China And Their Corresponding Solutions

In this thesis the basic theoretical problems are discussed , including the background of the emergence of the Online Education, the basic concepts and the features of the Online Education, the technological base, the social occasions and the cultural background. Based on the discussion, the problems and misunderstandings existing in the Online Education in China are analyzed, and the corresponding solutions are stated by considering the present situation of the Online Educational development. The thesis consists of the following 4 parts:Part one, the introduction. From the review of the studies on the Online Education in China, the purpose, the significance and the research methods of the thesis is set forth.Part two is the General statement of the Online Education. Firstly, from the epoch challenges and the Educational reforms, the background of the emergence of the Online Education is introduced. Secondly, its concept is pointed out and discussed. Thirdly, compared with the traditional education, its basic features are presented and analyzed on the aspects of the educational model, the teaching contents, the method of teaching and learning, the roles of teachers and students, the educational intercourse, the model of moral education and the educational management. Finally, the technological basis, the social occasions and cultural background of the Online Education are investigated.Part three, the problems, misunderstandings and present situation of the Online Education in China. At first, this part, from the two aspects of higher education and elementary education, generally analyzes the present situation of the Online Education hi China, explores the condition of the enrolment and examinations, the curriculum and teaching, and the employment of the Online Education in China. The second, it analyzes the generally existing problems and the misunderstandings in the practice of the Online Education in China.Part four, Suggestions of promoting the beneficial development of the Online Education in China, hi view of the existing problems in the Online Education in China, the part globally points out the suggestions of the integration of scientific spirit and humanistic spirit, the unity of virtual world and realistic world, the harmonious co-existence of the human being and the machine, the concordant development of the Online Education and the traditional education.
