With the fast sustained economic development, there have been some greater difficulties and more challenges in secondary vocational school education in recent years. The backward idea and no obvious characteristics of developing school, lack of due attraction in society, etc. are closely related to the improvement of organizational culture and the establishment of organizational image. The thesis will deal with how to improve the organizational culture and establish the organizational image by selecting some successful cases from secondary vocational schools.The organizational cultural theory rising in the late twentieth century is developed on the basis of the business cultural theory. It is of great research importance to apply the organizational culture theory to educational management. Understanding organizational culture will help a lot to understand school organization and how to make more remarkable achievements in school work. Organizational culture basically covers the following ten aspects: values, management philosophy, organizational habit, organizational image, organizational spirit, organizational ethics, rules and regulations, democratic management and organizational environment. In the broad sense, school organizational culture means campus culture, that is, the total of the way of school existence, including material culture, system culture and spiritual culture of a school, schoolorganizational culture has important functions, such as condensation, guide, mould, binding, encouragement and so on.Compared with universities, high schools and primary schools, secondary vocational schools have the characteristics of secondariness, profession, service and innovation. Material culture can be improved in the aspects of selecting school location and promoting staffs and students' aesthetic judgment based on the rules of educating, integrity, full coverage of both staff and students, and long-term work. System culture can be constructed via formulating systems, carrying out systems and enhancing the system awareness. Spiritual culture can be improved through forming ideas and defining objective of opening a school, carrying out values, creating a harmonious atmosphere, carrying forward excellent school spirit.The improvement of organizational culture conforms to the establishment of organizational image. School leaders are expected to set up an organizational and recognizing image and an ideal image, which are typical of the school. This can be achieved by creating a campus environment, exploring culture resources, using dexterously all kinds of cultural symbols, improving tlie mental outlook of the staff and students and forming the characteristics and excellent atmosphere of the school, etc.
