Cohesiveness is the nucleus motive force of promoting unity behavior of a class. It is the important condition of a class existence and development, as well as the important condition of strengthening class functions and accomplishing class aims. Cohesiveness takes a great part in class management and students growth and development. With the constant growth of quality education, perfecting class environment and prompting students to grow healthfully has become more and more necessary and pressing. This study takes class Cohesiveness of junior middle school in LanZhou city as an object of the research. This very thesis has made a thorough analysis of and given a detailed description of the present condition on class Cohesiveness of junior middle school in LanZhou city by means of questionnaire survey and interview, literature concordance, comparative method, as well as statistics method. In the meanwhile, the leading problems existing in the present class Cohesiveness in LanZhou city are pointed out. Under the results and analysis, some principle of enhancing class Cohesiveness and some feasible countermeasures and suggestions are made so as to provide scientific basis and thinking for improving class management.As a whole, the thesis has 5 components. In the first part, the author gives a broad outline of the research background and desired objective. In the second part, the author manages to introduce the recent internal trends in the study of class Cohesiveness, pointing out the importance of class Cohesiveness for the development of students and class management. In the third part, the author narrates in great detail sampling, survey procedure and research methods. In 6 aspects of objective, discipline, style of leadership, relationships, atmosphere and collective spirit of class, the research mainly focuses his eyes on objectively analyzing and describing the present condition of class Cohesiveness of junior middle school in LanZhou city in the fourth part, pointing out the following problems existing in the present class management :undemocratic work style of the teacher in charge of a class, unreasonable rules and regulations, unfriendly relationships between teacher and students, disharmonious atmosphere. Fifthly, pointing out the countermeasures of heightening class unity and Cohesiveness: changing work style of the leader, enhancing teacher's character quality, perfecting class rules, promoting various unity activities.
