Combination of listening, speaking, reading and writing is the key of language systematic quality. Language teaching should pay attention to coordinating growth among them. But for a long time, language teaching of secondary schools takes care of reading and writing, however, looks down to listening and speaking. They are always underestimated. The research holds that oral teaching is an oral communicative activity which based on developing students' basic skill .Its aim is to improve the students' oral communicative ability and language thinking and express healthy personal character. Because of this, the article makes a tentative inquiry. It analyzes the situation of secondary school, lacking in teaching material construction and insufficient class arrangement. It rings up reform conception-Oral teaching should enrich its contents renew its teaching with social life and open up channel of oral practice. At the same time, it puts forward suggestion such as paying attention to construction of language environment, long-standings of students' language, improving teachers' oral level and setting up oral test system.
