In resent years, altitude training has become an often-used method before competition, especially in the sport in which physique performance is request. There are many studies on altitude training in fields of physiology, biochemistry, molecule-biology and so on. But many of these studies show that, to some extend, the effect of altitude training on performance is uncertain. As the development of system science, especially, as the knowledge of system is used in nerve science, the effect of altitude training on performance should be evaluated in a new way. Unfortunately, the study on altitude training and the relation to controlling training state with the idea of system science has not been reported. Therefore, we designed this experiment from the point of self-organization in which many physiology and biochemistry index are observed. Through the observation of regulation of swimming athlete's physiology function and brain self-adjustment in, before, and after the altitude training, we evaluate the effect of altitude training on athlete's self-organization according to various index of brain. In this study, we discussed the influence and importance of altitude training from the point of brain self-adaptability. We hope this study would present more information about altitude training.9 excellent athletes are experimented in the study. We evaluate the athlete's response to altitude training by observation of (1) Physiology, biochemistry, immunity index, (2) the ability of self-adjustment of brain, (3) time of completing work, at different time (before altitude training, during altitude training, 1d and 12d later after altitude training) to. The result shows that:1. some athletes' test result rise, but the others' go down during the altitude training. In the national sport competition after altitude training, 6 out of 10 athletes have declined match result. Meanwhile, we found that the level of hemoglobin lactate ( HL) also shows a decreasing tendency after altitude training. The concentration of urea nitrogen in serum (Bun), Ck and COR show decrease tendency after altitude training. And the change is significant (P<0.05); the level of hemoglobin ( Hb) increase after altitude training. The level of Hb 3days after altitude training shows that there is a significant difference compared with that before training (P<0.01); the level of white blood cell (WBC) also increase after training. The level of WBC 10 days later after training is significant different from that before training(P<0.05); The level of testosterone (T) in plasma has no significantchange during the altitude training. But it appears an obvious decreasing tendency after altitude training. The level of T in plasma almost had reached the original level before match. When the normal physiology and biochemistry index reflect that the athlete is in a good condition, the results of competition are always bad. This indicates that the some physiology index have a limited use in reflecting the athlete's state of competition.2. Before and after the altitude training, the average frequency of the athlete's brain information transfers to a high level. Before competition, the cognitive activities become more active in brain activities and athlete's brain information is floating. This will result the oscillatory level of information entropy dispersing or shift to right. This effect is the explanation of lower sport ability.3. all the athletes who have the decreased situation of negative entropy or entropy dispersing show the poor performance in the following National competition. This indicates that there is no linear relationship between the effect of altitude training and athletes' sport performance. And if the training before competition is designed unsuitably, it will also lead to a readjustment of brain function matrix in the same level. In this experiment, this readjustment of brain function is shown by the lower sport performance.4. Altitude training can be used as a method of adjustment before competitions.
