Girl's education, which is still one of the educational trends today, has a practical significance for the development of society. Based on the present problems, this thesis makes a systematic study into the aims, the contents and the forms of girl's education in the Period of End-of Qing and Early Republic, compares the similarities and differences of the background in modern society and contemporary society, then draws a conclusion about the trend of girl's education in contemporary society: independent quality for educational aims, fairness for educational contents and diversification for educational forms. At last, in terms of the latest girl's education theory in the world and the girl's status quo in China, the author shows a tendency to be open, independent and fair for girl's education.
