By the end of 1990's, with the ever deepening of diatheticeducation, innovational education had become one of the most significant and extensively influential issues that were hot. At present, diathetic education has been established as the direction and guiding ideology for the educational reform in our country. Developing innovational education is, so to speak, another revolutionary leap in China's contemporary education and is the inevitable outcome of the ever deepening of diathetic education. It will unavoidably lead to revolutionary changes in China's education. This paper is based on the guiding principle of linking theory to practice. On the basis of analyzing the implications and connotations of innovation and innovational education, it explains the implications of secondary vocational education, the goals of education and training and the profound background for the implementation of innovational education at secondary vocational schools. It discusses the empirical exploration in the implementation of innovational education at secondary vocational schools: Establishing the educational concepts for innovational education; framing the models for the education and training of innovational talent; starting a curriculum system for the innovational education; exploring for the approaches to innovational education; setting up a team of innovational teachers; establishing a testing and evaluation system favorable for innovational education; creating an environment for the growth of innovational talent. In the end, it expounds the three kinds of relationship that should be handled properly in the implementation of innovational education at secondary vocational schools.
