The new course is aimed at putting the idea of digital education into practice, with the key lying in teachers' quality.The new course gives prominence to teachers' professional quality and sets specific requirement for teachers' professional quality. The key factor, which decides the success of the new course, is whether the development of high school teachers' professional quality can meet the requirement of the new course.This paper proposes high school Chemistry teachers' quality required by the new oourse through theoretical analysis, and gives suggestions on how to improve their quality after getting to know the current conditions of their quality through questionnaires. Those suggested methods include the introduction of practical and effective competitive system suitable for quality education, the more strict examination of Chemistry teachers' professional quality during the course 'of education and more support to Chemistry teachers both in finance and time.
