Mankind is Compelled to Choose idea and practice of laying emphasis on development of community after successively experiencing two developmental models to put undue stress on economy or society, in the hope that social development can avoid losing the center-man and following the same old roads to ruin through development of community. Education, with developing man in its original meaning, ought to go back to community if the center-man won't be lose in educational development; Aimed to foster man, school should promote the link-up andcombination with community if the prop-community won't be lose in school development.Thus, It's of particular necessity for schools to effectively develop curriculum resources in community to support development of school curriculum. Especially, it's urgent to make a multi-angle and systematic study on curriculum resources in community and its development in China where curriculum resources in school are in great demand but curriculum resources in community leave unused and wasted enormously.The current foreign and Chinese research concerning this has gained great results, focusing on such problems as theoretical construction of curriculum resources in community and curriculum implement. Based on predecessors' research, the author chooses Manshuiwan Town, Yis Autonomous county of Mianning, Sichuan Province as the case of study from the educational sociological angle, intending to explore factors influencing effective communication between school and community and effective integration of curriculum resources in community with school curriculum in order to probe supporting mechanism of development of curriculum resources in community to school curriculum through questionnaire investigation, interview and comparative analysis of the foreign.Through comparative analysis, the author holds that, concerning schools' development of curriculum resources in Manshuiwan Town to support development of school curriculum, a variety of problems existing either on the aspects of attitudes and regulations and theories or onthat of practice can be summed up in two points: One is that school and community are deficient in effective communication, thus making schools fail in full development and usage of curriculum resources in community; the other one is that curriculum resources in community and school curriculum are short of effective integration, thus making schools ineffectively develop curriculum resources in community to support development of school curriculum. Therefore, the author holds that, in order that schools can effectively develop curriculum resources in community to support development of school curriculum, the premise is to establish mechanism of effective communication between school and community as follows: the foundation is exchange and dialogue on the aspect of ideological concepts between school and community, the proper regulations and laws serve as the guarantee, what is more essential is theoretical and practical study on relations between school and community; the channel of support is to establish mechanism of effective integration between curriculum resources in community and school curriculum as follows: the foundation is to facilitate reform and initiative of school and teachers in educational concepts, what is basically requested is to set up information file for curriculum resources in community, the keypoint is to improve developmental consciousness and ability of teachers, the effective means is to develop curriculum based on school to use curriculum resources in community, the motive force derives from mechanism of inner evaluation and improvement by self-consciousness and self-regulation.The author hopes that the study can be of some benefit to theory and practice for schools to develop curriculum resources in community to support development of school curriculum.
