The exploring and practice of maths research study In Junior Middle Schools raised recently, which is opposite to the traditional passive acceptable study. It reflects the revolution of curriculum fully and conforms to the requirement of education for all aspect in modern society. Now days, there are generally four problems in class: First, the students activities are mainly controlled by the teachers and teachers can disrupt the students thinking and discussing at random. In fact, this kind of activity serves for the transmitting of knowledge, which is only a form, it s not democratic at all, let alone embodies the students opinion. Second, the questioning in class is dominated by teachers, too, Using some low level questions that need simple rezoning and memory mainly to make sure whether the students understand the knowledge or not, While it is valuable to ask questions, do the students often ask questions to the teachers? Third, the introduction of new lesson in class also follows the principles of small steps, many practices and more feedback, except imitating, what can the students gain? It lacks personality and creation. Forth, the knowledge is only about the textbooks, which has little relation with life. Students learn the knowledge to do exercises and take part in exams, but they seldom solve the practical matters in reality. Therefore, research study has great value in researching and exploring.Seen from the achievements of the research recently. Main of them referring to pure theory or using the small topics after class for a long period, it is hardly performed in class, And the majority is in Senior Middle Schools. This thesis is mainly about the study in Junior Middle Schools.Research study can help to motivate the students interest and sense of questioning, develop their thirst for knowledge, strengthen their ability of collecting and handing information, strengthen their ability of creating and communicating, strength their social sense of responsibility and improve their scientific accomplishment to let them develop in full scale.Research study is a high -level of studying which means that students choose and research a subject from subject fields or the real life situation according to their interest, love and ability under the guide of the teachers to gain knowledge, use knowledge and solve problems on their own initiative in the way which is similar to scientific research, in order to develop creative quality, form scientific spirit and scientific attitude, and improve the comprehensive quality and ability. Spoken from essence, it means giving the teaching sovereignty back to the students and make them the real masters in the initiative and positive study circumstances.The essential features of research study are: opening -. exploring and practicing .First, emphasize the procedure, it emphasizes the procedure of study, study of thinking methods and improvement of thinking level.
