Drawing lessons from the successful experiences of self-educated and guided teaching, problem-solving teaching and case-guided teaching, the article presents some new ideas about the creative education in a few aspects: the level of creativity, the center of class activity, the emphasis of teaching, the capacity of the meta-cognition and so on. Then, a new mathematical teaching mode--the mathematical learning-case teaching was put forward in which the mathematical learning-cases guide the students to learn mathematical teaching materials and the teacher gives the student instruction individually in necessary and cultivates the creative will and emotion.The general idea of the mathematical learning-case teaching is that the mathematical class teaching should be on the basis of the student's practical activity and perform guided by the modern teaching conception of mathematics which appreciate the self-learning and the active development. To guide the students to learn by the case and to solve the problems by the cooperation and discussion among the students and teacher make the learning-case and teaching material, the student's learning and the teacher's guiding to combine together. It is by the mathematical learning-case teaching to foster the students1 ability to learn and create indispensably and to set up the condition for cultivating the modern talents with complete developments and creative spirits.The learning-case teaching mode has mainly three phases: (1) To study by oneselfaccording to the learning-case. The teacher writes and distributes the learning-case, arranges study-groups so to make the students to study according to the learning-case.(2) To discuss and create by the cooperation. It is necessary for the students to cooperate and discuss when they get the different answer in the self-study. In the same time, teacher helps the students to learn creatively and foster creative will and emotion.(3) To summarize the knowledge and examine the effectiveness of learning by a test The teacher and the students summarize and set up the constructive network of the mathematical knowledge together to reach the teaching aims.Compared to the teaching-case, this kind of learning-case prepared by the teacher in the role of a learner does not list the study's aims, emphasis, difficulties, the methodsof study, but guide the student how to learn the teaching materials, how to find question, and how to summit the mathematical thought and method, etc. In the procedure of the learning, students like to chat with a friend freely and to think subconsciously. The contents of the mathematical learning-case become richer and richer to form a story that makes mathematics interesting and attracts the students to learn. In general, the learning-case teaching has some features as following.First, this mode changes the process to transmit knowledge and sets up a newrelationship between knowledge, teacher, teaching material, learning case and student.Second, the learning-case teaching mode makes use of the teaching material'sfunction fully and makes up its lack to let students not only understand the knowledgeinside it but master the Math thought and method.Third, the learning-case teaching mode frees the teacher from the rostrum to keep him having enough time and energy to foster students' unintelligent factors that are important to develop the students' creative ability by taking the place of the teachers' mouth with the learning case.Fourth, the learning-case teaching mode profits the teachers' cooperation because of the objectivity of the learning case which design the manner of knowledge presentation, not the teacher' s action. It is possible to get the best cases to guide the students to learn indispensably.Last, the learning-case teaching mode can improve the reading ability that is the basis to self-studying in the future for the students must get information from learn-case by the eyes, ears, hands and brain to think and master the knowledge.The lesson generall...
