Teacher professionalization is the trend of teachers' education in the world, and is also the goal and demand of teachers' team construction. In view of the disagreements in the theory circle and the difficulties in practice, this dissertation tries to discuss the intension, sort out the process, discover the meaning and make clear the difficulties of teacher professionalization in order to make clear the ideas on teacher professionalization such as the standard of ideal teacher professionalization, and to clear out the problems in the process of teacher professionalization. Based on the above, this dissertation puts forward the strategies of enhancing teacher professionalization, with an aim to contribute to the construction of high-leveled teachers' team and to the healthy, sustained, stable, high-speed and harmonious development of our motherland's educational cause.In order to make teacher a kind of profession, the six conditions are required:I. Professional goal and education concept. Teachers should have spirit of devotion, responsibility and enthusiasm, loving students and even educational cause. Realizing the future, vitality and social benefit and influence of education for human being, teachers should have up-to-date, clear and right idea of education, namely, the new concept of education, of students and of education activity.II. Professional ethics and professional spirit. Teachers should not only meet the normal standard and demand of occupational ethic, but also try to achieve the professional spirit. Whatever the conditions are, teachers should combine his work with the future development of the society, with the worth of individual life and with the hope and happiness of each family. With high dedication and responsibility, teachers should be ready to devote his whole life to the educational cause.III. Professional knowledge and professional skills. Teachers should not only be equipped with systematic professional knowledge, wide cultural background knowledge, rich teaching experience and scientific education theory, but also be equipped with the ability to monitor teaching process and to conduct scientific research.IV. Professional training and professional development. Teachers should have high-qualitied professional training for as long as possible. The ideal professional teachers should at least have bachelor degree, and step by step acquire master degree. The country and society must guarantee professional development and further study to teachers.V. Professional status and decision-making power. Teachers should have comparatively higher social status and treatment. The ideal teacher profession should be, to a certain extent, highly self-decided.VI. Professional organization and laws & regulations. A sound professional teachers organization and complete laws & regulations and policies should be set up to ensure the improvement of teachers professional level and status.Teacher professionalization, or teacher professional socialization, is a mode of occupation-professionalization, referring to "the process of individual teacher improving his professional level and the process of the teachers group trying to gain the professional status of teacher occupation". The first part means individual teacher professionalized, and the latter means teacher occupation professionalized. They together form teacher professionalization.This dissertation sorts out the process of teacher professionalization and points out the trend of teacher professionalization as the following: teachers' team with higher diploma and the regulation of teacher professional development will step by step become an important part of the system of university education; close attention to teachers' research ability will become the key point of the professional development of teachers; the teacher professional development will be more and more dependent on the reform of teacher education and on the key part played by the schools where teachers work; teachers to be certified; teache...
