Teacher professionalization is the main goal of the world's teacher education reform, the world development trend of Teacher Education and also the needs and direction of education reform. It also greatly promotes the foundation of many countries'new education theories and systems.Since the 1990s, China begins to concern and to explore the problem of teachers'professionalism. Teacher professionalization is increasingly becoming the goal for many Chinese teachers and also the demands and direction of Chinese teacher education reform. Have been advanced foreign experience and practice, China will certainly be conducive to better advance the process of teachers'professionalization. To use other countries'experiences to reference, this thesis will take example of U.S.A. to introduce its development of teacher professionalization. On the basis of a great deal of relevant materials, this thesis attempts to study and analyze the measures taken to promote the teacher professionalization in U.S.A teacher professionalization development process. In this paper, in addition to the introduction and conclusion, is divided into four parts. It is found that this process will be a complex and comprehensive one, which needs not only inner reform of education, that is reform of pre-positional education, preparing education and incumbency education, but also consummating teachers'quality guarantee system to offer a effective exterior sustaining system. The experiences of U.S.A. in founding majoring development schools, speeding up preparing education and establishing qualification guarantee system will inspire our countries reform in the aspects of radicating reasonable teacher model, implementing qualification guarantee system and training teachers in the new round reform.This thesis is composed of three parts:The first part will retrospect U.S.A. teacher professionalization process, which is divided into three stages: Normal School period, the period of Teachers College, College of Arts and the University period. And then it studies development and the basic characteristics of the various periods. to embody the development of their teacher professionalization from the aspect of professional training.The second part will review the 1980s U.S. teacher professional reform concrete content, new tendency, analyze it's role and inspiration for the development of teacher professionalization and further study the existing problems and the results achieved of the United States teacher professional development since the 1980s. At the same time, the main contents of the teacher education reform of the United States are introduced. Part three will summarize the characteristics of the United States teacher professional development after the 1980s, and then offer five strategies for our teacher professional development, referring China's national conditions and a number of successful experiences from the United States teachers professional development.
