With the advent of knowledge economy and information society, education attracts much more world-wide attention. Improvement of curriculum, as an important content of education reform, brings to the whole world's attention. Changing the learning ways of the students is regarded as the major breakthrough point .The countries and areas , such as America, France, Japan, The Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan etc, also advance a serious of new moves in the field of improvement of curriculum in order to meet the needs of development of society , economy and the international competition .For example, America clearly puts forward the teaching aim of scientific research and positively initiates Project-based Learning and Problem-based Learning in the book of National Scientific Education Standards in America. France carried out "Travaux personnel encadres" at more than one hundred senior middle schools during 1999-2000 .In the new curriculum reform , China devotes major efforts to proposing study-learning for the sake of changing the prospect of laying stress on acceptance-learning . The aim is to alter the says of teaching and learning .The Sixteenth Party Congress points out particularly the way of Chinese education reform which is "Adhere to education improvement , deepen education reform , optimize education structure , put educational resources to rational use , improve educational quality and level of management, pursue quality education in an all-round way .Deepening the quality education in chemistry teaching must be connected with the characteristics of chemistry education-experiment-based .We should carry out positively the study-learning to change the students' learning ways , and realize the development of students' abilities of practice and spirits of blazing new trails by teaching activities .This article first proceeds from the background of the times and integrates the trend of Chinese quality education and scientific quality education to analyze the necessity of study-learning , some educational concept relevant to study-learning and the implication of study-learning .In order to have correct grasp of the teaching design ofstudy-learning , the article also analyses the many-sided study-learning design ,uniting the solution of problems , scientific research and teaching design theory.Chemistry teaching is experiment-based .It's inevitable that study-learning should reflect this kind of characteristic. So the choice of experiment topics and contents, experiment instruction and experiment evaluation should make appropriate changes to develop study-learning facing the students .We should change the traditional experiment teaching situation which puts undue stress on the proficiency of experiment operating shills but overlooks the cultivation of the students' Visual-Spatial Intelligence. We also should develop chemistry study learning, engage in a variety of experiment operation and establish the visual teaching environment. This article approaches the specific teaching operation, following the principles of combination practice, implementing it step by step and giving classified instruction, and integrating the study learning. It provides serene aspects of operating teaching basis for study learning.At last, integrating the development of education evaluation theory, the article analyses and explains how to implement the various evaluations in study learning and make them become an important means of learning from mistakes. The aim is to help the students to find the advantages of others and hold the different views, thus to help them to form active interpersonal relationships. It is also to help the students to absorb constantly the useful knowledge and the scientific methods, to be clear about their own correcting orientation, and to promote the healthy and free development of student' moral qualities and personalities.
