One educationalist of the former Soviet Union considered, "We should think of children as a whole. If we want to let the children fix theireyes on study, we should inspire them wholly......With the mind the childrenonly can know the knowledge, with the hands they can see its significance in reality, and when they own the power from heart they can grasp the knowledge."To found the cooperative school is just in order to attract the students to take part in the instruction more actively, to create the harmony on campus, which can motivate the students from heart and result in better development of them.In the paper, the author discusses the connotation of the cooperative school and the theoretical basis of its establishment, and brings forward the strategies for reference to set up such a school according to the cooperative situation in Chinese primary and high schools.The paper has five chapters. The first chapter chiefly expounds the author' s research purpose, research angle and research methods. In the second chapter, the author explains and studies the origin, connotation, elements and features of the cooperative school. And in the next chapter, the author discusses and analyses the concerned thoughts and theories of sociology, pedagogy and administration that can support the establishment of the cooperative school. In the fourth chapter, based on the questionnaire investigation and interview, the author finds and generalizes the cooperative problems in the current middle school. In the last chapter, the author proposes some specific strategies to found the cooperative school.
