The essay applies development-teaching theory into teaching of Chinese course. It specifies that the teaching of Chinese course should focus on complete development of human being and relate teaching closely to student life. Therefore, teaching can rebuild student spiritual life. Guided by the teaching development theory, class design should combine theory and practice. The essay provides new concepts and new practical methods for renovations of Chinese teachingThe essay is composed of two parts:1. Development teaching theory is the most appropriate and most effective way to change the current situation of Chinese teachingAlthough there are constant renovations on Chinese teaching, people's knowledge of Chinese teaching is still much restricted to the field of education and teaching. There is a lack of interaction between Chinese teaching and people's life process, and there is few discussion on the history and culture origin of these questions. Nevertheless, people have reached a common knowledge of Chinese teaching ~ lack of humanity; emphasis on its nature of a tool; dispatch of real life and focus on dull logistics. Consequently, Chinese teaching, which is supposed to be centralized by beauty sensing education, has turned out to be away from its target.Development teaching theory is based on the concept of constructiveness and development. It perceives education and teaching as an important part of life process. It integrates people's emotion, logic and knowledge. Its four characteristics - active participation, cooperative learning, respect of individual difference and experience of success, shows greatly the humanity of development teaching. In particular, the theory brings to stage a lot of creative ideas. It emphasizes the importance of practice and sees teaching a self-organized process. It gives teaching new objectives and plans. Teaching evaluation now becomes a synergized art of democracy. Comparing to other theories, the concept of development teaching can solve problems of Chinese teaching we are facing now from a deeper point of view and it is hoped to be of practical and instruction meaning for Chinese teaching.2. How to apply development teaching theory into real teaching of Chinese lessons. It is addressed that the basic way is to combine teaching with student life.The combination means that teaching materials, teaching attitudes, teaching processand student evaluation all need to be close to student life. To be exact, teaching materials should be adjusted according to student's needs. During teaching, students are equal to teachers, and students are participants and cooperated leaders. The whole teaching is tried to be part of student life. For students, it is not only a process of acknowledge new knowledge, but also a process of self development of emotions and social values. Regarding student evaluation, the essential part is to get rid of dominance of school's assessment. Instead, student evaluation goes more democratic and practical.At last, the essay specifies a new model of teaching design of Chinese lessons, which is characterized by "inspiration - provocation, discussion - mutual participation, advice - encouragement, and motivation and self - motivation." The model is aimed to bring Chinese lessons into student heart, therefore, have Chinese lessons in the hearts of students.
