This study was to explore interpersonal conflict events among undergraduates and the ways of their coping .The study adopted cross-sectional method. 363 undergraduates from Heibei University completed the Questionnaire of the Interpersonal Conflict Events for Undergraduates (ICE) and the Questionnaire of the Ways of Coping for Undergraduates (WOC). ICE and WOC were developed in the study at present.Results indicated: (1) Four factors is extracted from ICE by exploratory factor analysis, named conflict of dormitory activity, self-esteem being injured by somebody's attitude, being supplanted by others, using article. (2) Seven factors is extracted from WOC by exploratory analysis, named communication, injuring opponents, avoidance, reflection, competition, abreaction, and consolation. (3) The reliability and validity of ICE and WOC is satisfactory according to the criteria of psychological measurement. (4) Significant grade effect exists on the domain of conflict of dormitory activity and self-esteem being injured by somebody's attitude. (5) On the domain of avoidance and reflection, grade difference is significant. On reflection and consolation, there are significant gender differences. Significant correlation exists between competition and grade. (6) Being supplanted by others and self-esteem being injured by somebody's attitude make direct contribution to the prediction of communication coping; being supplanted by others and self-esteem being injured by somebody's attitude make direct contribution to the prediction of injuring coping; being supplanted by others and gender made direct contribution to the prediction of reflection coping; using article and grade make direct contribution to the prediction of competition coping; self-esteem being injured by somebody's attitude and gender make direct contribution to the prediction of consolation coping.
