Nowadays , mathematics has greater uses in all subjects . One of the important reasons is that maths can demonstrate and exchange ideology briefly . Since 1989 , developed countries clearly put forward the objective of maths interchange one after another in the curriculum criterion issued by their own countries. In china , the same objective is also proposed in maths syllabus for full-time ordinary senior middle schools (revised manuscript) as well as in maths curriculum criterion for full-time compulsory education (experimented edition) ?And the maths language is the means of maths interchange ?As the old saying goes , a workman must first sharpen his tools if he is to do his work well c So it is a must to master the maths language , Besides , in the past , teachers paid more attention to teaching the students knowledge than to instructing them how to learn. Therefore the author tries to study the characteristic of the maths language and the characteristic of learning it , combing her teaching the practice of maths with the problems present among students , analyses the possible situations in an all-round way , and advances the guiding-study view ,that is, training the students to study the maths language.
