As the living environment tremendously affects people's existence, so does the educational environment affect educational activities. The classroom teaching and learning of a subject needs to be conducted in a specific environment. And that of Chinese is without exception. But as a major subject in middle school, Chinese has its own characteristics. Therefore, how to create and optimize the classroom environment in middle school Chinese teaching and learning is well worth research and studies.This research paper first presents the content of the educational environment, then gives the definition of the middle school Chinese classroom teaching and learning environment, lists its types and components, elucidates its practical value, explores the psychological basis on which to create and optimize the Chinese classroom teaching and learning environment and then probe into the principles that should be followed in creating and optimizing the Chinese classroom teaching and learning environment. Finally, from the angle of teaching practice, this paper expounds how to create and optimize this environment in order to improve the efficiency of middle Chinese classroom teaching and learning.
