The problem of how to improve the ability for those with some difficulties in mathematics learning is a big concern for educators home and abroad. Not only does it influence the teaching schedule, but also it exerts pressures both for schools and for families. It is, therefore, crucial to solve this problem, which is indispensable for carrying out the educational policy from exam-oriented to quality-oriented. For this reason, the author takes the junior middle school students as his research objects in Yinchuan city, Ningxia Province, and makes an investigation on more than 300 students with mathematics learning difficulty with questionnaires. Based on the research which has been made, considering the different backgrounds of those "special" students, such as their emotions, learning skills and actions, the author puts forward some strategies, which are relatively suitable for math teaching in a middle school and for those with learning difficulty:First, to improve their exclusiveness in learning; dependence in perception, and dullness in cognition.Second, to better educational factors such as establishing a good relationship between teachers and students, trying a successful math teaching class.
