ial for promoting equivalence of vocational and general education and satisfying individual various demands to link them up together. On the basis of analyzing the present problems, this treatise clearly defines the concept and models of link-up of vocational education and general education, and then presents 'equivalent theory on vocational education and general education', 'theory of all-round individual development', 'theory of life-long education'as its theoretical anchor points. Along these lines, two models of link-up are developed in the treatise: 'comprehensive high school' and 'interaction of vocational education and general education'. After exploring specific meanings of model and prerequisites for carrying them out, this treatise further develops some forms for them and analyses advantages or disadvantages of each model respectively. In its last part, the measures of bettering outer surroundings for development of vocational education, sketching and building up institutions for harmonizing vocational and general education, and perfecting the present system of human development, are advocated to realize effective link-up between vocation and general education in senior high school.
