Chinese educational reform has been carried out with the advocacy of quality-oriented education. The teaching material of Chinese for high school students has been adapted. As high school teachers of Chinese, when we are interpreting traditional texts, we need to change our angle of view and put the characters in traditional texts in a new reference frame.In my essay, I make an analysis of female images from the point of view of feminism aesthetic criticism. For a long time ,the female images such as Liu Lanzhi, Dou E , Du Shiniang ,Cui Yinging ,Lin Daiyu etc. have been distorted because they are involved in chauvinist remarks .These images are created by male intellectuals. I try to make a critical analysis of these images.Besides introduction and conclusion, this essay consists of five parts. In the introduction I give a brief picture of the tragic female images. In chapter One I Present the development of feminism in clear way , which make a good foundation for my essay .From chapter two to chapter Five in each chapter I analyze one female image. Through these images I criticize the misunderstanding of female images from males and explain the reason for the situation. In chapter Six I make an analysis of the teaching starchiest and styles .1 try to cultivate the students' creativity.Through this essay I try to develop a new idea for high school Chinese teaching .With the combination of feminism theory and the analysis of tragic female images in classical .Chinese works, I make an attempt to analyze the aesthetic meaning of the tragedies which I think will promote quality-oriented education.
