| Education is the foundation of a hundred years.Education is an important means to train talents,which plays a vital role in the acquisition of individual knowledge and the formation of ideas.With the progress of the times,the independence and competitiveness of women’s development are obviously enhanced,and the female consciousness in various fields is gradually awakened,and gender equality has become a hot topic in the field of education.As the most important tool of education and teaching,teaching materials undertake the key task of spreading knowledge and culture.In the process of knowledge transfer,the Chinese subject has the function of cultivating students’healthy personality because of its coexistence of instrumentality and humanity.Chinese teaching materials also create countless vivid characters,in the subtle impact on the values and feelings of students.With the deepening of education reform in our country,the selection and arrangement of articles in Chinese teaching materials are constantly being optimized and perfected,but the women in the selected articles are still marginalized,most of the classic female images selected are relatively old,and there are certain gender stereotypes.The junior middle school stage is the key period for the formation of students’ gender consciousness and the important stage of the socialization of gender roles.The unreasonable female image characteristics in the teaching materials will affect the establishment of students’ correct female view,and it is not conducive to the shaping of self-personality.As the birthplace and pioneer of the feminist movement in the United States,the social status of women is constantly improving.At the same time,as the representative country of advanced education in the world,the gender consciousness in American textbooks has also received attention and attention.This paper makes a comparative analysis of the female image in the Chinese teaching materials of junior middle school in China and the United States,and makes a comparative study on the gender consciousness in the Chinese textbooks of junior middle school in China and the United States combined with the social background,and then aims at the At present,some effective suggestions on gender education in junior middle school are put forward.This paper is divided into five parts:the first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the origin,research status and related theoretical basis of the topic;the second part is the first chapter,which analyzes the value of female image in textbooks from two angles,namely,the social value of female image and the educational value of students;the third part is the second chapter.number;number of female authors and number of female illustrations.The fourth part is the third chapter,comparing and summarizing the data obtained before,and discussing the causes of the problems in the textbook according to the political,economic and cultural factors. |
