The teachers play the most important roles in education reform of any countries. Teacher professionalization is the trend of the world teacher education development and the orientation of our country's teacher education reform. And kindergarteners' professionalization is just at its start. A research to the present conditions of kindergarteners' professional development in Gansu province country area has great theoretical and practical significance.We take the city of Zhangye, Pingliang, the county of Longxi, Jingyuan as examples for this research papers, and the following arguments come from which. The main methods in the study are questionnaire, interview, observation, object gathering and so on. We made an investigation on the present conditions of kindergarteners' professional development, the problems hitherto existed and its reasons. On the ground, appropriate suggestions and measures have been proposed.The main contents included in the study are as follows: the present conditions of kindergarteners in rural area at present, their occupation identification and expectation and their professional development.In kindergarteners' professional development of Gansu rural area, we've found the strong points are as follows: most of the kindergarteners are young, healthy. And they eagerly want to be trained. Their families give them strong surportment. They are satisfied with their membership and their occupation.At the same time, weak points are noticeable: firstly, the teacher staff is not stable. Secondly, quite a lot of them have high educational background but low professional level. Thirdly, too much problems in their teaching, studying and self-description. Fourthly, the cooperation between kindergartens and families still stand on the surface. Fifthly, teachers can't give themselves right self-description.According to the results, some countermeasures and suggestions have been put forward in the study from different points, just as standardizing and stabilizing teacher staff, providing more training opportunities for teachers to push the proceeding of the kindergarteners' professional development. In addition to, I try to find out the models of kindergarteners' professional development in Gansu province rural area.
