Since the reform and opening up, with the rapid development of China's economy and the rapid progress of the industrialization process, a large number of farmers into the city to work, so a special group has been created:the leftbehind children. Due to the long-term living in the special family structure and community environment, the problems of their life, education, mental health, social development and other issues have become increasingly prominent.As a social problem, the problem of leftbehind children has been widely concerned by all circles of society in our country. People have made investigation and research on the leftbehind children from different perspectives. However, most of the research on the leftbehind children focus on the middle and primary school, the study on the leftbehind children is still relatively weak. In the process of individual psychological development, social development plays an extremely important role,and the social development of early childhood has a strong predictive effect on the development of individual life. Research on preschool leftbehind children's social development in the presence of explicit and implicit problems is the humanistic care for this vulnerable population, also is the steady development of social concerns,so preschool children, study their social development status is particularly important.The researcher finished the investigation and research on the social property of309 preschool children in Tianshui City, Gansu Province. Through the questionnaires and interviews to those leftbehind children's parents and teachers, from 15 dimensions that comply with the rules of society, social cognition, will, living habits, Introverted and outgoing personality, attachment to their family, emotional stability, self concept,peer relationship, aggressive, independence, honest and fair, empathy and help others,ambition and self-esteem, to understand and analysis of preschool children leftbehind social development status.Based on the analysis of the data, the following conclusions are drawn:1.The overall level of social development of the left behind children is ordinary,compared with the normal mode, the model is consistent with the normalmode normal distribution.Among them, the development level of the two dimensions of the will and living habits is better, higher than the norm;in the low level of social development, cognitive empathy and help people in two dimensions, significantly lower than the normal.2.Preschool children's social development level is far lower than the level of social development of non leftbehind children, and in the social development of the15 dimensions and the development of the total score is extremely significant difference(p<0.01).3.The level of social development of preschool leftbehind childrenis significantly different(p<0.01) based on whether the only child, the level of social development of only child is lower than that of non only child.4.There is no significant difference in the social development level of the preschool left-behind children between different sex.5.The level of social development of the preschool leftbehind children is affected by the form of migrant workers in their parents. Mothers go out, the father at home,the left behind children's social development level is the lowest, the second parents go out. while the father out, mother at home, the highest level of social development of preschool left-behind children.6.The level of social development of preschool leftbehind children is affected by their mothers work time more significant. There's significant negative correlation between these factors and the social development level, the longer the mothers' work,the lower of the children's social development level.According to the analysis conclusion, the researcher puts forward the corresponding suggestions from four aspects: the government, the kindergarten, the family and the social. In order to provide theoretical basis for the treatment and prevention of the social development of the children left behind, to promote our country's preschool leftbehind children's social development to do a little help.
