The boarding school is an effective way to develop the national education, and plays an important role on the plan of basic knowledge and basic skills in western areas at present Having the Ganjia boarding primary school as a case, author adopts action research as her research pattern. Beginning with the dormitory management of this school, author inquires and analyses the questions which exists in the dormitory management and the reasons that courses these questions, and explores the effective methods to solve these questions through cooperating with the local teachers, for changing the current conditions of the dormitory management and promoting the harmonious development of student's body and mind. This paper explores the effective patterns of the development of the boarding school of minority nationality.The main results of research are as follows:I . Building the boarding school is an effective way to develop the education in the mountain areas of minority nationality, even in the nomadic Tibetan. It is proved that boarding school is beneficial to popularize the nine-year compulsory education in the national areas where the level of education is low and the resources of education lacks.II. The state, the local government and the school must do his duty each one to develop further the boarding school. Both the systematization of education and the particularity of the boarding school decide that if the boarding school gets the support of the state, the local government and the school, it will develop fast and healthily.III. Strengthening management is the important guarantee to develop the boarding school. The infrastructure is the base of the development of the boarding school. And the scientific and all-round management is the key to promote the development of school and the harmonious development of student's body and mind. The role of schoolmaster is very important in the boarding school.IV. Changing the teacher's educational view and improving the ability of teacher are the guarantee to develop the boarding school.V. Both training student's ability of self-management and promoting the development of student's body and mind are the focal points of the work of the boarding school.
