Research On The Management Of Student Dormitories In Private Boarding Schools

The core concept of education is "student-development-oriented",which means "everything for students,everything for students,everything for all students".Dormitory is not only a place for students to rest,but also an important place to realize the function of education.For the students in boarding schools,whether they can live well in the dormitory is the basis and premise of their study.The topic of student dormitory management seems insignificant on the surface,but it involves all aspects of students' personal growth and the overall management of the school.Its urgent and significant problem is self-evident,and it should become the topic of education management research.Scientific and effective student dormitory management is an important factor to promote the healthy growth of students,as well as an important guarantee for the sustainable development of private schools and the improvement of the quality of private education.At present,the private school in our country is in the rapid development,the private boarding school student dormitory management research has important significance.In this paper,by sorting out and summarizing the research on student dormitory management at home and abroad,it is found that there is still a lot of room for improvement in the research on student dormitory management system of private schools,and there are few researches on student dormitory management,especially field studies.Based on the interpretation about the student dormitory management research literature at home and abroad,on the basis of an S school as the research case,mainly adopts the field research method,through data collection and data analysis of the understanding of local economic development level,let the reader can clearly grasp the current school S overall situation of the local economic development level,thus further understanding S present in the school student dormitory management of some phenomenon.By exploring the current situation of dormitory management in S School from three dimensions of management system,management culture and management personnel,the following conclusions can be drawn: First,in terms of the current situation of dormitory management,S School has established a comprehensive and standardized management system,constructed a unique and diverse management culture,and equipped with professional and diligent management personnel;Secondly,there are also some problems in the management of student dormitories.First,the management mode is relatively simple,the management system lacks internalization,and the management relies excessively on the rigid system.Second,the management model is not scientific;Third,the number of management personnel is insufficient;Fourth,there is a gap in management objectives.There are two main reasons for this: first,external constraints,including the limitation of policy support and the particularity of student source structure;Secondly,internal management factors are manifested as unreasonable management system,lack of close cooperation between home and school,and insufficient ability of management personnel.Therefore,the paper puts forward several countermeasures and suggestions to improve the management of students' dormitories in private schools.First,the government should give external support to promote the balanced development of private education and public education.Second,schools should carry out internal reform to promote their own connotation development.
