The Investigation Of Students’ Dormitory Management In Rural Boarding Middle School

There are many rural boarding middle schools and the number of students is very much, too. The rural boarding middle schools are the main channels of rural left-behind children to go to school. The rural boarding middle schools solved the problem of going to school for the remote rural areas’ students and also solved the trouble for migrant family.They also became the main place of living and studying for left-behind children. However, a lot of students have been boarding at school, the functions of taking care of children by family pass on to the schools. The schools not only bear the educational function, but only bear the function of caring. Therefore, the big pressure and the heavy responsibility have become an important education problem.This study through questionnaire investigation and interview investigation to analyze the data. From the schools and teachers’ level、students’ level and family level to analyze the present situation and find out the problems. Through the research, we found that in dormitory without professional teachers and they are also not enough;dormitory building’s equipment are unreasonable, facilities are old and have much safety hazard; there are also many financial security problems and hard to find out;the students crowded into the upper and lower, it’s easy to infect diseases and to fight,it’s also easy to cause potential safety hazard; there is lack of culture in dormitory and it is not good for students to develop.Through analysis these problems, this study from the administrative departments of education and schools’ level、students’ level and family level to put forward the corresponding countermeasures,such as: increase infrastructure investment; update the education idea; innovate the working mechanism; create a good educational environment;strengthen the information communication of family and school; increase the safety awareness of students and developmental awareness;improve the students’ ability of self-management and self-service; promote awareness of attach education of parents and pay attention to the education of family atmosphere.I hope it can offer reference for relevant departments.
