The effects of seabuckthorn oil is related to many components, which include various amino acid, mineral elements, vitamines, flavone and so on. Lots of researching achievements about seabuckthorn oil have made in many fields such as daily expenses, medicine, cosmetology, health care, foodstuff, etc. These studies show that aloe has a role of antioxidation and therapeutic effects, which is interrelated with getting rid of free radical. It is known that the massive free radical can be generated through exercise, which will attack cellular membrane system and cause the malfunction of cells. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of supplementation of seabuckthorn oil on exercise performance and free - radical -defense system in trained mice, and put forward some reference for the development and exploration of aloe as sports food.The methods: Our research subjects are SD rats with 8 weeks ages and we selected the following blood index as the certificates of exercises training stress: Bla, Hb, CK, BUN and damage on DNA of BRC; We selected four tissue indexes (myocardium, muscle, liver and kidney) as antioxidant state of the rats after different exercise training in different times. Our studies are to find the effects of different training and seabuckthorn oil on antioxidant state and recovery speed of SD rats.We have drawn the following conclusions:1) The results show that incremental training can cause rats' exhaustive swimming time be extended, and that rats'exhaustive swimming time can significantly be 鈥rolonged after taking seabuckthorn oil.2) In immediately after exhaustive exercise groups, concentration of Hb and CKBla and BUN are of higher significance in seabuckthorn oil group than in control group, but the concentrations of Bla and BUN are is evidently lower. In 24-hours recovery groups, these indexs are of higher significance in seabuckthorn oil group than in control group.3) In immediately after exhaustive exercise groups, SOD and GSH-PX activity of BRC are higher remarkably in seabuckthorn oil group than in control group, but the concentration of MDA is evidently lower. In 24-hours recovery afterexhaustive groups, SOD and GSH-PX activity are still higher significant in seabuckthorn oil group than in control group, while the concentration of MDA decrease remarkably in seabuckthorn oil group comparing with control group.4) In immediately after exhaustive exercise groups, oxidative damage on DNA of BRC is of lower significant in seabuckthorn oil group than in control group. In 24-hours recovery after exhaustive groups, it is still of lower significant seabuckthorn oil group than in control group.5) Different kinds of tissue show the different levels of SOD, GSH - PX, MDA and CAT; the same kind of tissue in different condition shows different levels of SOD, GSH- PX, MDA and CAT, which indicates their different abilities of antioxidation.The conclusion: seabuckthorn oil can increase swimming performance significantly, reduce damage of myocardium, muscle, liver and kidney caused by exercise and enhance antioxidative function of some kinds of tissue; seabuckthorn oil supplementation can also protect DNA of BRC.
