In recent years, the incidence of obesity is higher and higher, which has already becomes a public health problem. The cloning of ob gene and the discovery of its protein product (leptin) give obesity research a new light. Leptin is a hormone which is produced by the fat of the cell. It combines with high-express leptin receptor in hypothalamus which play biological function of reducimg food intake, promoting the energy consumption and reducing the weight of the body. Most fat patients and many obesity mammals have leptin resistance. Leptin resistance means body organizations are not sensitive to leptin and they can not react to it. There maybe many kinds of possible reasons that unusual system of the brain may be one of the reasons of leptin resistance. It is already found that exercise can influence the consistency of serum leptin. So can we infer whether exercise can influence the transporting of serum leptin to the center and improve the sensitiveness of leptin receptor? The study on this question will give an important meaning to the improving of the leptin resistance and the preventing of the obsesity.This paper gives the experiment of the SD male rat shouldering heavy task 3% of its weight swimming for 60 mins. The paper probes the influence of exercise on leptin brain transportation and sensitiveness of leptin receptor in arcuate nucleus by observing the change of the consistency of serum and cerebrospinal fluid and the change of expression of leptin recepeor immediately after the swimming and1 ,3,6 and 12 hours after the swimming.The results show that: (1)ne time of 60 mins swimming can obviously reduce consistency of serum leptin and improve leptin brain transportation ability and accelerate leptin entering cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), so as to increase the density of cerebrospinal fluid(CSF). (2)One time of 60 mins swimming can promote the expression of leptin receptor in arcuate nucleus, but its physiological mechanism remains to be studied further. (3)60 mins swimming maybe improve leptin resistance of the fat patients because of unusual leptin brain transportation system. We get the suggestion from the experiment: We should carry tails on human body to confirm that exercise can improve leptin resistance.
