Teaching mode is an intermediary of transformation that is between teaching theory and teaching practice. In the new curriculum reform, it is of important practical significance for the intensification of teaching practice of the politics lessons in high schools and the construction of teaching theory to probe the teaching mode of the politics lessons in high schools.In the thesis, I have profoundly expounded the significance of innovating the teaching mode of the politics lessons in high schools and have analysed some representative teaching modes of the politics lessons in high schools at present by way of comparison study and that of examples. On the base, I have brought up a new teaching mode of thepolitics lessons in high schools--independence, cooperation andresearch. For the first time, I have systematically expounded the bases of the theory, the teaching goal, the teaching procedure and the principles of instruction and the tactics carried out for the mode as well as the application to the modern information technology in the mode. I have also introduced some of my initial practice and effects which are in the teaching mode of independence, cooperation and research. At the same time, I have cited a few practical examples for the mode to strengthen its domination and confidence. At last, I have made an assessment of the teaching mode of independence, cooperation and research, and raised some opinions of deepening the study of the mode as some reference for the further study and research of the teaching mode of the politics lessons in high schools.
