A Study On Current Situation Of Women Basketball In Fujian Province And Its Developing Strategy

Based on investigation, documentation, logical analysis, mathematical statistics, this thesis made a systematic study on the current situation of women basketball and developing strategy in Fujian province, with instructors, referees, players, players and instructors of part of middle and primary school in Fujian province, who take part in women team basketball match at different levels in Fujian province in 2003, as the objects of study. The result shows that the sports level of women basketball is above the average in Fujian province; these regions differ greatly in sports level; Fujian women basketballs have problems of System petrifaction, singleness of player cultivation and training channel; no enough leader importance is attached to grounds, funds and equipments; Instructors at different levels and referees have reasonable age composition and very high spirit of respecting profession, very strong dedication and sense of responsibility; women basketballs lack for perfect regulatory regime of contest and training and system of rewards and penalties of stimulating the enthusiasm of the Instructors in Fujian province; Instructors have undergone regular professional training, have a certain experience of sports training and practice ; but Fujian province is short of high record of formal schooling and high professional titles instructor; instructors need further improve their overall quality, can not equally develop the level of scientific research and training ,lack for the opportunity of study ,training , exchange with the outside world, are poor inscientific training. Instructors and players are poor in treatment; women basketballs in Fujian province have problems of lack of good physical condition and above two level players ,of the age of top players of the province team being a little older, of little match frequency and low level match, of great difference of the level in juvenile team ,of lack of reserve force, of disproportion in one ,two and three ranks, of lack of the specification in selecting suitable material; Basketball referees are not attached importance to by superior branch in charge in cultivation, are very few in country level, rarely conduct referee in higher level match , fall short of mega game experience in Fujian province. This paper is to provide scientific foundation and reference for decision and planning of Fujian basketball department in charge, training and selecting suitable material.
