Critical thinking was the prerequisite and foundation of creative thinking .By the influence of traditional educational thinking and answer test education, the critical thinking of the general students was rather scarce. Facing the situation of "knowledge excess" and "information explosion", the combination of the critical thinking and the subject teaching showed urgent.This dissertation was divided into 7 parts. In the 1st part, the current situation of school education and the general students" creativity was summarized, the reason for our study were presented. In the 2nd part, the definition and basic characterization of critical thinking were presented from the point of chemical teaching in middle school by analyzing and comparing the viewpoint domestic and international experts on the concept of the critical thinking. In the 3rd part, the necessity and possibility of the training for the students during the senior middle school were discussed. In the 4th part, the theoretical basis and the structure of the teaching pattern of training the critical thinking was illuminated. In the 5th part, the enforcement of the teaching pattern was brought in effect, the policy of the enforcement consisted of 4 parts: building the democratic equal relationship between the teachers and the students, guiding the students to independent thinking, encouraging the students to ask questions and establishing scientific appraisement system. In the 6th part, the procedure of the enforcement was analyzed and the conclusion of the program was concluded. At last, it gave a totally conclusion.In a word, The study and the practice of the study focus on training the students" critical thinking with the quality of positive, activity, not conservative, not obey, good at questions, daring to query and independent thinking , in order to the students regard chemical knowledge as a kind of tool and means to reform extant chemical social practice, so that the students express their inner vitality and wisdom.
