In this paper, the puberty education of middle school in Nanping & Xiamen areas was investigated by using the comparative research method. The intention of the investigation is to find out the degree of puberty education in middle school students, especially in the sex knowledge, sex physiology, sex mental characteristics, the attitudes towards sex education of their parents, and the differences between their choice ability to the educating forms provided by their school and teachers.The results showed that the current situation of puberty education in these areas allows of no optimism for us. Many middle school students lack knowledge of sex, precocious in sex while lacking in sex physiology preparation and too much open in attitude towards sexual behavior; weak in home sex education; not enough of the school sex education, and the different degrees in sex education due to the regional differences, namely the level of the puberty education in Xiamen area is higher than that of Nanping area. According to this research result and the practice of the puberty education in author's school, author makes suggestions on education of consciousness, courses establishment, education of teachers, the choice of the teaching mode, etc.
