Puberty is an important period for the formation of one's physiology and psychology in one's life. And it also has a profound effect on his growth. Under the long-term impact of deep-rooted feudal and conservative ideology, less or even no attention is paid to teen-agers' sex education. It is not uncommon that teen-agers commit sex wrongdoings or even crimes time and again and the trend is still on the rise. How to start an effective sex education in middle schools is a question drawing the attention of experts and scholars at home and abroad. Some foreign countries have already launched the puberty sex education with sexual ideology and consciousness taught to primary school pupils. But we fall far behind. It was not until 1991 that NEC(National Education Council)planned to extend sex education in middle schools after the issue of the government notice in 1988桪evelop Sex Education in middle schools. However, more than ten years later, the influence exerted by examination-oriented education system results in most schools' ignorance of the importance of puberty sex education.An essential approach to improve the present situation of sex education in middle schools is to incorporate sexual knowledge into biology class, with students' actual situation taken into account, thus to better students' physical and mental development. So it's necessary to adopt a proper approach to teach second-year junior middle school students sextual knowledge in biology class. Among the ten themes singled out in Biology Course Standards are "Biological Reproduction Growth and Heredity" & "Healthy Life", which introduce the basic knowledge about human reproduction and growth. They are helpful for students to know themselves better and to live a healthy and hygienic life. Its targets are as the following: to help acquire the knowledge on human body structure and functions, and about hygiene and sanitation; to improve their physical and mental health; to cultivate healthy habits of life; to form them positive attitudes to living. According to the Standards, "Human reproduction and growth" was chosen as a teaching approach, by which sex biology, psychology morality and law knowledge were introduced to teen-agers. It's found out, after an extensive study, that the importance of teen-agers sex education has attained popular awareness and it has become a fully-developed topicIV\Ltheoretically. But there's no relative report about how to put it into practical class and how to break into the "Forbidden Zone".The study is about the experiment of incorporating sexual knowledge into Biology class, in which, a total of 121 students are chosen as subjects, with Class 2 as the control Class and Class 1,3 experimental, titled Class A and B respectively. Two major themes are established: puberty sexual-physiological knowledge and sexual psychology, morality and law. In the experiment, the control class follows a more traditional way, with boys and girls in the same class. The experiment class follows a new and different method. The lecture on Puberty Sexual and Physiological Knowledge adopts the pattern of Lecture ?Acceptance, whose procedure is as follows: lesson preparation ? introduction of new unit ?teaching of the new unit ?consolidation exercises. Lecture on Puberty Sexual Psychology, Morality and Law follows question ?discussion model, the procedure of which is: topic preparation? arrangement of discussion method ? creation of relavant situation梔iscussion ? presentation ?conclusion. To make the result more effective, the author chose such techniques as active participation, emotional communication, and T (teacher) ?S(student) cross benefits. Besides, a democratic and harmonious class atomosphere is created in the discussion. Class A consists of boys and girls, and class B adopts different teaching models according to the contents to be taught.A pre-experiment test and post-experiment test are given accordingly on the sexual knowledge taught to the three classes.
