The aim of exploring the consolidation and optimization of community preschool educational resources is to close contacts among the community, kindergartens and families and help each preschool child in the community have the opportunity to receive a good early education. Guided by the two relevant research theories: Community Education and Course Resource, I expound the basic concepts, theoretical bases and positive significance of the consolidation and optimization of community preschool educational resources, analyse its current situation and development pattern as well in the hope that it can be used for reference by community preschool educational practice.The consolidation and optimization of community preschool educational resources means to synthesize and merge preschool educational resources in various aspect in the community together into a harmonious integration so that the function of integration is larger than that of the sum total of various section. In this case, it can achieve the goal of optimum educational benefit. It must be based upon the following ideas: lifelong education, lifelong learning ; daily education; ecotype education; common breeding of general education and the reform of educational course. It has positive significance of vigorous development of community preschool education, the deepgoing reform of kindergarten education and the healthy growth of preschool children. According to the analysis of its present situation, administrative setup in the community and educational setup in kindergartens, there are many strongpoints as well as positive aspects. Meanwhile, there are some weakness and negative aspects. So we should compose the following development patterns in the course of practice in future: to consolidate and optimize the educational resources which might be divided into the following ones: the reciprocal one with the community and resident association as its center; the activity one orientated one with the kindergarten as the main pan; the comprehensive one with community preschool educational guidance-centered as a carrier; the network one: undergoing within the certain region and the complementary one with the characteristics of exchanging family educational experience. These patterns will make the way of community preschool education become more and more broad.
