This paper discusses the essence and connotation about Students' burden and holds that the amount of academic work are just appearance of students' overburden, while mental pressure is their inner expression. In social relations, a person is identified through his status and shows his status through role-playing. The amount of academic work is the appearance of students' burden, but the conflicts between the requirement and expectation, which come from families, schools, societies and so on, and the students' interests, abilities and levels are the crux of the matter. The direct presentation of such conflicts reflects the degree of the students' psychological burden.
