Activity curriculum, is a vital component of the curriculum system of the nine-year compulsory education, as well as an important way to carry out the educational policy in all-around way and to carry on the competent education among middle school and primary school students. Comprehensive practice activity as the senior form of activity curriculum has developed from the idea of adaption to the trend of curriculum reform and development of world education, and the combination of contemporary comprehensive course on the basis of extensively carrying on activity curriculum and course on social practice in middle school and primary school of China. The establishment of curriculum of comprehensive practice activity in our country's curriculum system marks the production of a series of new curriculum concept embodying the spirit of our ages, it is the growing point of new curriculum concept and has been offered commonly in middle schools and primary schools of some provinces and cities since September, 2001. The article makes an intensive and careful investigation on the development of activity curriculum and the implementation of curriculum of comprehensive practice activity in middle school and primary school of JinQuan City located in the remote and poor areas in the west, using the methods of literature, investigation and research, summing up experience, and compare, etc, it aims to provide the visual angle of seeing clearly problem and the reference of solving problems in the procedure of implementing curriculum of comprehensive practice activity for teacher in middle schools and primary schools of JiuQuan City, in terms of fulfillment of the plan for curriculum of comprehensive practice activity , development and utilization of curriculum resources, improvement of curriculum of comprehensive practice activity and teacher's comprehensive qualities.The article makes an intensive and careful research and analysis on the implementation of activity curriculum in JiuQuan City according to questionnaires and interviews related to the offer of activity curriculum, and the collected school schedule, and evaluates objectively the implementation of activity curriculum in middle schools and primary schools of JiuQuan City. The author considers the schools of JiuQuan City have carried out"the guidance outline of nine-year compulsory education activitycurriculum "and curriculum plan on the whole, however, there also exist some problems which fail to fully motivate teachers' initiative to participate the development of activity curriculum and which have a negative effect on the full realization of teaching plan and curriculum aim during the procedure of activity curriculum teaching, the lack of scientific methods to carry out activity curriculum, the lack of evaluation target, as well as the lack of management system to activity curriculum. On the basis of investigation and research, the author analyzes the factors which restrict the implementation of activity curriculum. Moreover, combining of the reality, aiming at how to make activity curriculum well and how to effectively promote the implementation of curriculum of comprehensive practice activity , some personal views and suggestions are put forward: to change teachers' views and make them realize the status of curriculum of comprehensive practice activity in a correct way; to change students' way of study; to reinforce teachers' continuing education, change teachers' role, improve their professional skills and comprehensive qualities; to reinforce the organization and management in the implementation of curriculum of comprehensive practice activity ; to develop the curriculum resources creatively so that the local characteristics of teaching can be formed; to set up the evaluation system of improving students' all-development, teachers' qualities and school's development as well.
