With deeply study on the New Curricula Reform, this paper took W district of Suzhou as a case study; analyze the requirement of New Curricula for the staffs professional capability, researched on the practical problems for teachers to instruct the New Curricula. The aim of it is to figure out the content and the way for teachers' professional training.This paper was divided into three parts.In Part one, it mainly talked about on papers concerning the New Curricula Reform. On the one side with the hope for finding a better reference model for our local teachers training, it tried to learn from the history, present status, the content and the tendency of Teachers' professional development in the foreign country; and on the other hand it made conclusion on the fruitful research finding of our country's teachers training and made clear the new requirement of the New Curricula Reform.In Part Two detailed case study on W district of Suzhou was performed and it disclosed the present status of New Curricula in this district, the professional problems the teachers there were facing and the new need for teachers' professional development and the related influencing factors, and etc. By way of Statistics Analysis, the investigation was made around two parts of people: one is the teachers group and the other is the students group. It seemed they had different idea on the issue but in fact they did have similar understanding about the new professional requirements of the New Curricula Reform for teachersIn Part Three suggestions were made. It deemed the teachers' professional development in new time is a systematical project, which requires the cooperation among teachers, schools and the government, which plays different roles in the whole process. To succeed in the New Curricula, the three sides should make mutual effort to construct a new style system for teachers' training.
