Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,the CPC Central Committee and The State Council have attached great importance to vocational education.General Secretary Xi Jinping made a series of important instructions on vocational education,emphasizing that in the new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country,vocational education has a broad future and great potential.During the 14 th Five-Year Plan period,the state issued a series of documents,aiming to effectively improve the level of vocational education,cultivate all-round vocational education students,and promote the high-quality development of our economy.Because of the difference between the training objectives of students in higher vocational colleges and ordinary colleges and universities,the physical education teachers in higher vocational colleges are different from those in ordinary colleges and universities.Although higher vocational colleges belong to colleges and universities,there are limited articles selected as research objects,and there are few researches on the development of physical education teachers’ professional quality in higher vocational colleges at present.Through literature review,it is found that the level of such researches is not high and there is a lack of certain amount of research.The research results mostly stay in the survey of professional literacy of teachers in higher vocational colleges.There are more researches on the improvement of explicit literacy of teachers,but not enough researches on implicit literacy.Moreover,more teachers tend to study ordinary universities and primary and secondary schools.Based on this,this paper uses literature,questionnaire,field survey,mathematical statistics and other methods,takes Luoyang higher vocational colleges as an example,relies on national guiding documents,and is based on the "iceberg theory" to investigate and study vocational physical education teachers’ professional literacy from two dimensions of implicit and explicit professional literacy,and puts forward development strategies.It provides practical reference for the follow-up development of PE teachers’ professional quality in higher vocational colleges.The results are as follows: 1.In terms of explicit professional quality:(1)The general knowledge of physical education teachers in higher vocational colleges in Luoyang is relatively weak;(2)The professional knowledge,practical knowledge and educational theory knowledge of the physical education teachers in higher vocational colleges in Luoyang are relatively solid;(3)Teachers’ teaching ability and educational management ability are at a relatively strong level,and their educational research and innovation ability is at an average level,or even weak.2.Recessive professional quality:(1)Luoyang higher vocational physical education teachers have more advanced educational ideas;(2)Physical education teachers in higher vocational colleges in Luoyang have lofty career pursuit and correct career cognition;(3)The physical education teachers of higher vocational colleges in Luoyang have a higher level of professional ethics on the whole,but the teaching measures are not appropriate in special weather.3.The training methods of vocational physical education teachers in Luoyang are mostly on-the-job short-term training,and the effect of the training is at a moderate level,but the improvement degree is not high,so it is necessary to improve the professional quality of teachers.The suggestions to promote the improvement of PE teachers’ professional quality in higher vocational colleges are as follows: 1.Design a phased training plan to keep pace with The Times and increase the degree of reward for PE teachers in higher vocational colleges;2.2.Increase the policy guidance to macro-guide the improvement of teachers’ literacy;3.Enrich the ways to improve the professional quality of teachers in higher vocational physical education colleges in Luoyang,and optimize the traditional teacher training system;4.Stimulate teachers’ subjective initiative and self-development drive;5.Increase the ideological and political study of higher vocational physical education teachers.
