With the rapid development of society, the huama quality is playing more and more important role in economic development.The Five-Year-System normal school is the main camp which trains the primary school teacher. The new demands to the normal teachers have been put forward.And the music teachers are the main strength to educate the students with comprehesive quality . The quality of a teacher has great influence to the students.Under the professional theory of the teacher, the paper introduces the"education for all one's life"to the music education to probe the reasonable structure of teacher with music characteristic.The paper has analyzied the the current situation of the music teachers of Shandong Province through document analysis, questionnaire and interview.And it composes professional structure of the music teachers at five-year-system normal schools according to the opinions of Professor Lin Chong de, who works at Beijing Normal University. The paper has been divided into four parts. The research background and practical meaning of the task have been showed in the first part.That is , enhancing the quality of music teachers is not only the need of the social development, but also the reform of education. The second is the theory of the paper. It puts forward recompose to the professional quality of the music teachers through summary, analysis and conclusion and expounds correlative concepts of professional quality of the music teachers. The third part is what professional quality at five-year system normal schools should be had under the new course standards. 1. comprehensive structure of knowledge; 2. all-round structure of ablity; 3. good ideological cultivation; 4. healthy psychological quality.Through collecting and arranging materials, analyzing and processing data; through investigation of normal music teachers in teaching and the first-hand samples from different music teachers in Shandong. The fourth part concluds the current professional quality of five-year system normal schools. In order to meet the demands to music teachers in modern times, the paper in part five points out how to develop the teachers'professional quality according to the current situation of music teachers. That is: 1. Renewing ideas is the key to improving the teachers'professional quality. 2. Creating and practising is motivation of improving the teachers'professional quality. 3. Teaching and rethinking is avialable ways to improve the teachers'professional quality. 4. Continuing education is the guaranty to improve the teachers'professional quality.Instead of researching the past education theory that laid particular stress on teachers'quality before starting teaching, this paper tries to break through the past research and connect the sustainable development with teachers'profession, its purpose is to form scientific and perfect structural system to face the challenges so as to improve the music teachers'quality at five-year system normal schools, adapting times and quality-oriented education, improving quality of education and cultivating high-qualified primary school music teachers.
