One school is a non-productive service organization, whose structure is loosely coupled and tightly coupled. And organizational culture is the "glue" that holds loosely coupled systems together. Therefore, "organizational culture" which discloses the dynamic of organizations is fit for school administration better.Various organizations appear unlike characteristic because of various cultures, and analysis on organizational culture of school will be helpful to learn the formation of characteristics of one school, as well as the meaning to school administration. The thesis analyzes mutual research materials detailedly, and according to that the research framework which includes organizational climate, substance culture and institution culture is established. A junior school - X junior school is chosen as a searched target for it is a typical junior school of common scale and quality. The research presents the characteristic of organizational culture of this junior school detailedly and really through qualitative approach and quantitative approach.The conclusion suggests that exoteric index of X junior school is low with controlling climate; X junior school has improved school installment so as to promote school image and encourage the members of school; the institution culture of X junior school is in the period from budding to progress. And the main factors which influence the organizational culture of X junior school are the scale of school, management activity and leading method of the headmaster, level of teachers and organization structure of school. According to the characteristic of organizational culture of X junior school and the reasons of forming, the organizational culture of this school should be improved from the leader's concept on organizational culture to the activities of the common members.It is obvious that organizational culture of school is developed in the development of school, and that we manage school with the mode of organizational culture is helpful to improve the sufficiency of school and develop the school organization. The thesis suggests that if we carry the research of organizational culture of schools on exploiting the reciprocal relationship of qualitative approach and quantitative approach, it will promote the integrality and rationality of the conclusions.
