As a new branch of Educational Technology, Educational Information Processing deals with information arising from the course of education or instruction, resorting to the concepts and methods of Information Science, and many kinds of mathematical methods are used.Because of uncertainty and unintegrity, traditional mathematical methods have their limitation, which leads to attempts at inaccurate mathematical methods, for instance, Fuzzy Mathematics.Grey System Theory ensued after Fuzzy Mathematics, which is used to address the system with unintegrate information, so-called grey system. It has succeeded in many application fields.Educational system is a grey system. In this thesis, five chapters are devoted tothe elementary research on the application of Grey System Theory to educational evaluation. In Chapter 1, necessary concepts about educational evaluation are addressed; In Chapter 2, basic framework of grey system theory, its objects and goals of research are described; In Chapter 3, 4, 5, Grey Relation Analysis, Grey Statistics, Grey Clustering and Grey Synthetical Evaluation are discussed respectively, and some relevant applied examples are provided.
