This paper mainly studies the experimental research of geography instructional design of middle-school which is conducted by the learning theories of constructivism. The study is carried out by researching the New Course Theories and Modern Instructional Theories Especially from the principle and characteristic of the learning theories of constructivism, this paper probes into contrast research between geography class of traditional middle school and geography instructional design class of constructivism. The content includes five parts: the challenge about tradition-produce and arise of constructive learning theories; the struggle in difficult context-the rethinking about propagating geography education of middle school; the regeneration in difficult context-the geography instructional design of constructivism; accept positive examine-the Practice and research of constructive learning theories in geography instructional design of middle school; the improvement in practice-the geography instructional design of middle school is developingThis Paper is based on the New Course Theories and Modern Instructional Theories, especially the speculation between constructive learning theories and traditional learning theories. It demonstrates that constructive learning theories is better suitable for students' cognitive pattern. What's more the rethinking about the traditional geography education is carried on by refection about the traditional geography teaching principle and geography teaching methods and investigate study about the difficult context of traditional geography class and traditional geography teachers. Geography Instructional Design should be directed by some relate theories, such as geography education theories, psychology, propaganda science, systematic ideology and quality-oriented education ideology. Depending on analyzing the influence of systematic ideology, propaganda science to the geography instructional design of middle school, and absorbing overseas geography education, we put forward the geography instruction design of middle school of constructive learning theories.The positive research of geography instructional design of constructive learning theories is the focal point in this paper. It consists of three parts: First, the practice of Anchored Instructional Design in geography instructional design of middle school; Second, the practice of A Functional curriculum for Youth Instructional Design in geography instructional design of middle school. After expounding the basic concepts and basic segment, then the experimental research is carried out. We use two comparative groups whose initial state is same, carries out the constructive learning theories, analyzes the in class condition, after class condition and students' knowledge test, capacity test and achievement test, And at last we draw a conclusion with the methods of fixed and determined, from teachers, students. And bystanders in several degree to analyze the students knowledge, capacity and condition.Finally, this paper analyzes the questions in practice of the geography instructional design of middle school of constructive learning theories-such as Anchored Instruction Design, A Functional curriculum for Youth Instructional Design, Random Access Instructional Design, and also, It calculates the geography instructional design of middle school's prospects and forecast the short coming.
